Behind The Album: - Here For You - Recorded In Nashville, Mixed in the UK, Mastered in Germany
Updated: Feb 15
All the things I love about country music went into the making of my second album 'Here For You'. Crafting my songwriting abilities, I penned the title song and co-wrote 10 of the songs on the album. The album has a mix of beautiful ballads and up-tempo rockers, filled with fiddles, banjos, fender guitars and pedal steel. 'Here For You' was recorded in Nashville, mixed in the UK and mastered in Germany, it was truly an International affair and I loved every minute of making it. I have been very fortunate to have some fantastic musicians play on the album 'Here For You' with the likes of Larry Franklin on Fiddle ( CMA Musician of the Year), Jay Vern on Keys and Pat Servers on Banjo/ Pedal Steel. They are truly outstanding musicians and I felt very privileged to have them play on the album. If you listen carefully, I think you can actually hear the amount of fun we had in the studio when recording these songs.
For the release of 'Here For You', I signed a 3 album deal but sometimes things in life are not always what they seem to be, more about this another time. The first single released from the album 'Look So Good' was a hit in many countries including America, Australia and Germany. It's always very exciting checking the various country music and pop charts on the internet to see how things are going. When I was growing up listening to music on the radio, I would love to buy singles, learn the lyrics and following music charts. This was such a big thing for me.
Due to the success of the album 'Here For You', many of the songs are featured on major compilation albums alongside Dolly Parton, Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Dixie Chicks plus many more American country recording artists. That was a big moment for me and what I call a WOW! moment, I can't take all of the credit for this success it is a partnership and genuine sharing experience between Spencer Jaye(my writing partner) and me.
It's a huge privilege to do what I do and share my music with you. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support. I am 'Here For You' because of you. Until next time,
