Debbie said" This is my first original Christmas song to be released, Spencer and I, started writing the song in the summer. I added a little Christmas tree to the recording studio mixing desk just to get us into the Christmas spirit. Lockdown has been tough on everyone this year and I did get very emotional when recording the song 'Blue Blue Christmas'. The Joy that surrounds Christmas is amazing and I love it! But an element of sadness seems to linger in the air during the festive season. The chorus section is upbeat, but the lyrics are very emotionally driven. Something we all experience at Christmas is the memories of family and friends who are no longer with us. I lost my dear dad the day after Christmas, so every Christmas is a reminder. This year is going to be especially difficult for everyone, who have lost loved ones, my heart and prayers go out to you all".
