Many of us have been given a Saint Christopher necklace/pendant as a gift from a family member. I was given mine by my Dad when I started singing and travelling the world. Saint Christopher’s most famous legend tells that he carried a child, who was unknown to him, across a river. Therefore, he is known as the patron saint of travellers.

The World is changing before our very eyes with millions of people in stay-at-home situations, lockdowns, and quarantines. Everyone around us including, neighbours, friends, and family all need help and acts of kindness to cross the dangerous river that is before us all.
A few things that really stick out to me in this story are:
1. Help others in need
2. During the crossing things became worse but Christopher kept on going
3. Christopher found himself in great difficulty and danger
3. Christopher finally reached the other side
4. Whilst crossing the river he travelled with Christ
5. He served Christ by his actions
You may feel alone, you might feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders, but you are not alone His love will see you through.
